CARE AWARDS

At Christ the Sower, OUR CARE ethos and Christian Values are fully embedded in everything that we do in school, every day.   We seek to reward children and adults who live with CARE, in our celebration assembly each week.

The Golden Book CARE Awards

Each week we have a different focus for our CARE Celebration assemblies (see below)  Each focus has a different CARE value attached to it.

Our teachers carefully select a child each week to achieve the Golden Book certificate.

When a pupil achieves all 4 certificates (Choices, Aspiration, Reflection and Engagement) they achieve their CARE ambassador badge.

The John Wesley Awards

John Wesley famously said that we should 'Do all the good we can, in all the ways that we can' Inspired by this message, we have introduced this special award for living through our Christian values.

Children are invited to live through our school values, (in school, at home and in the community) and in return they can gain tokens, certificates and 5 staged badges.  The award is led by our CARE Crew, and they administrate the certificates and badges in our celebration assembly.

Behaviour Champion Award

We ask children to learn how to live with our CARE ethos and Christian Values. We teach behaviour throughout the CARE Curriculum (See the behaviour curriculum document here)   We believe that it is essential that we notice and reward the children when they are meeting these expectations, and so we have developed the Behaviour Champion awards!

When children have behaved in line with CARE and our values, they achieve a Golden Ticket, which are given out in assembly each Friday.

There are staged badges that can be achieved for multiple tokens, which allow you to spot our 'Behaviour Champions' across school.
