Year 6 in the 19th Century

On Monday, children in Barley and Wheat classes were given the opportunity to take part in a Victorian school, set up in their very own classroom. Lots of pen-and-ink use, slate boards, and sitting in rows ensued, and the lessons were appropriately strict. Whilst one class was doing this, the other were puzzling over a host of domestic artifacts and trying to wokr out exactly what they were and who would have used them.

In the afternoon there was lots of playing games from 19th century childhood, for all the children.
