Our Children's Achievements – 2025/26

We are very proud of our children's achievements, and our 2025–26 results give us plenty to celebrate.

At the end of Year 6, 78% of children achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined, compared with 63% nationally. Results were particularly strong in writing (94%) and maths (91%), with 81% reaching the expected standard in reading. Our children also made more progress than the national average in all three subjects, with progress in writing significantly above the national average.

There were excellent results across the rest of the school too. In Reception, 88% of children achieved a Good Level of Development, giving them a strong start to their education. In Year 1, 91% passed the phonics screening check, rising to 96% by the end of Year 2. Our Year 4 children achieved an average score of 24.5 out of 25 in the multiplication tables check, with 63% achieving full marks.

These results are part of a positive picture over time. Over the past three years, our combined Key Stage 2 attainment has risen from 58% to 78%, while writing has remained a consistent strength. Phonics and multiplication tables results have also improved steadily.

Although academic results are only one part of school life, we are proud of the high standards our children achieve and the care, support and teaching that help them succeed.

2026 Key Stage 2 results are provisional.
